Breeder of AKC Champions
Some of our show quality puppies are sold as companions to families.
So we occasionally have available show and companion puppies. Our companion
puppies are sold with limited registration. Obsidian has three black champion standard poodles at stud, and two champion miniatures poodles (silver or black) at stud. Our standard boys are fully tested for hips, eyes, SA, vonwilderbrand and thyroid. Our miniature boys are tested for optigen, eyes and hips They are available to approved and tested female poodles. We do not cross breed so please do not ask. Pacific International Genetics makes our boys available for cool chill and frozen semen without surgical implant of semen for breeding. So if you have a high quality, tested and approved female poodle you do not have to ship your girl unless you want to. We also do live breeding's occasionally.

breed the poodle. Poodle Club of America has honored five of our poodles
with placements at their once a year big time annual show. In 2005 Westminster
gave one of our girls the coveted Award of Merit. We credit the poodle
first and then their handlers for their great success. 
Most of all we love our poodles for their unconditional love and for moments
of humor and joy they give us even in our lowest and highest moments. Once you
have a poodle no other dog will do. We hope you will join the family of
show poodles or the companionship of a family poodle pet. Poodles are just
so darn smart. They will train you well and you will be happy to be their
pet. So for your next canine friend get a poodle, but get one from a reputable
breeder that tests the parents for eyes, hips, SA, vonwilderbrand, and thyroid
on the standard poodle, and optigen, eyes and hips on the miniature poodle.
You will pay more but you will get a puppy from tested parents and a breeder
that is careful in their selection of parents for your puppy.
